The HVHS Library Media Center is open Monday - Friday from 7:45 to 3:30 and provides books, periodicals, videos, DVDs, computer software and computerized databases to support the school curricula and to encourage recreational reading and research for students and faculty. The media center has 28 computers with Internet connections for teacher and student use. Thirty laptops with wireless Internet are available for using Plato and may be used in the library or checked out to the classrooms. The purpose of the media center is to support school and district curricula, teachers' classrooms, and students' interests. Parents must sign a parental permission form in order for their children gain access to the Internet at school. Credit Recovery is scheduled in the library at various times. Accelerated Quizzes are available for more than 3,000 books.
